What is Chant4Change?
On 10/08, one month before Election Day, thousands will gather on the steps of the iconic Lincoln Memorial and raise their voices in unity, peace and harmony to celebrate and heal our nation. Featuring legendary musicians, thought leaders, social activists, spiritual and religious leaders of various spiritual beliefs, personal backgrounds and demographics, live music and inspiring speeches will take place to usher in vibrations for unity and peace. Chant4Change counters divisive election noise occurring in Washington, DC and beyond.
When and where is Chant4Change taking place?
Chant4Change 2016 is scheduled for Oct. 8, 2016, from 1 pm to 11 pm, at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, 2 Lincoln Memorial Cir NW, Washington, DC 20037.
Do I need a ticket to get in?
Chant4Change is a free event, but we need you to register and commit to be a changemaker! You can register here.
Will there be food and drink at the event?
Some of our sponsors will have food and drink to share. We also encourage you to bring your own snacks to keep you nourished throughout the day.
What if it rains?
Chant4Change will be happening rain or shine! We encourage you to bring rain gear (i.e. ponchos or umbrellas) to keep yourself dry should this be the case.
Is the event all ages?
Yes!!! Our hope is to gather all generations in love and oneness.
How do I get there?
Parking in the area is limited, so we recommend taking the DC Metrorail. The nearest stations are Foggy Bottom (23rd St. &I St. NW) and Smithsonian (12th St. & Independence Ave. SW). Click here for more information.
